We grew up in the 90s in Orange County. As much as we love Ska, we grew up loving Hip Hop just as much. Well, maybe host Mike more than Julia. This episode is full of 90s Hip Hop throwbacks that will have you throwing your hands in the air like you just don’t care.

Just a few songs for your drive with the windows down on a Sunday.

We did it! We picked a hobby and stuck with it for a whole year. To celebrate, hosts Mike and Julia comb through the Billboard Chats and pick their favorite songs that went to #1.

The 80’s are back! In podcast form! Mike and Julia bring you a mix of the not-so-overplayed songs of the 1980s. Expect a lot of odd balls, “why’s?”, “ohhhh that song” and “you guys have weird taste” in this week’s show and less Duran Duran, Pet Shop Boys, and Wham! Kicking off this new style of mixtape of ours is R.E.M. They happen to be one of host Mike’s favorite bands ever! We go though each and every album, talk a lot, and pick our favorite songs off each. It’s a perfect mixtape for R.E.M. beginners and super fans alike!

It’s truly frightening how good these songs are! Whether you’re going trick-or-treat-ing, partying or trying to scare yourself on your drive home, we got the right songs to get you in the Halloweenie mood!

Laura Neptuna of The Neptunas, an all female pop punk-surf band, joins MM!PP! to play songs all about California. Laura was our first guest and best guest and chose a most excellent topic. California has so many beautiful songs written about it, so it was super difficult to pick from because we wanted to play everything. We hope we did our best to pay homage to our home.

No, we haven’t run out of ideas yet. In today’s show Mike and Julia choose their favorite cover songs with a twist! They can only use genre crossing cover songs. Ya gotta listen!

MM!PP! was given the awesome opportunity to fill in for Jimmy Alvarez on TNN Radio on 93.5 FM. Excuse the format we had to make it radio friendly so we played longer blocks of songs than normal.

Julia and Mike rehash past relationships. They get sad, play some songs, and drink some cider.  Really, truly, what more could you ask for? 

Mike goes on a vacation to the UK so what better way to celebrate his return than to do an episode on our favorite UK bands. There's just a few rules: No Irish or Scottish (British only). And of course no Beatles or Rolling Stones because duh, everybody knows those. 

In their very first show Mike and Julia introduce themselves to you via song. They say the word ska a lot, because guess what? They love ska! If you haven't been scared away based on description alone then take a listen!
